Summary
sasthare is a palm reading app for entertainment. We do not store your palm photos or your birth date. Both are used only to generate a single reading and are discarded as soon as the request finishes. We collect the minimum we need to run accounts, credits, and payments, and we do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
Palm photos
When you take or upload a photo, it is sent from your device to our server only to generate your reading. It is processed and not written to our database, file storage, or logs. We do not keep a copy after the reading is complete.
Optional birth date
You can add your date of birth before a reading to receive an additional layer of context. It is entirely optional. Skipping it gives you a palm-only reading.
When you do enter a birth date, we:
- use it only to generate that one reading, in memory, for the duration of the request;
- never write it to our database, file storage, or logs;
- never use it for marketing, profiling, advertising, analytics, or to link to any other account or identifier;
- discard it as soon as the response is returned.
Please do not submit a birth date for anyone under 16. Your consent is the basis for this processing, and you can withdraw it at any time by simply not using the feature.
Accounts and payments
sasthare gives every visitor a small number of free readings with no sign-in required. To buy more credits, you sign in so we can attach the credits to your account. When you sign in we receive and store your email address, your display name and profile picture (if set), a stable identifier from the sign-in provider, and your current credit balance.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We never see your card details. For each successful payment we store the payment reference, amount, currency, credits granted, the billing email provided, and a timestamp. This payment history is kept for tax, accounting, and support purposes.
If you used the app anonymously before signing in, we link your prior anonymous record to your new account so credits are not lost or duplicated.
Optional ratings
If you choose to rate a reading, we may store pseudonymous feedback to help improve the app. This can include:
- star rating (1–5);
- any short comment you write;
- a brief text summary of the reading (not your photo);
- an anonymous session identifier held in your browser session;
- how long you viewed the reading before rating;
- your browser/device user-agent string.
We do not attach your name, email, IP, or account ID to ratings.
Cookies and local storage
sasthare uses a small number of strictly-functional cookies. We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies. The cookies we set are limited to:
- a sign-in session cookie so you stay logged in between visits;
- a short-lived helper cookie used during the sign-in redirect;
- a signed visitor cookie that lets us count free readings without an account.
Your browser may also keep a temporary session ID in local session storage so we can avoid duplicate ratings in the same visit. It stays on your device and is cleared when you close the browser tab.
Service providers
To run sasthare we rely on a small set of service providers for hosting, secure payment processing, and the underlying AI that generates the reading text. Some of these providers may process data outside your country. We rely on each provider's own data-processing terms and standard safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep things
- Palm photos and birth dates: never persisted — kept only in memory for one request, then discarded.
- Anonymous visitor records: kept while you are an active visitor; pruned after extended inactivity.
- Account information: kept while your account exists. We delete account data within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
- Payment records: retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and financial-record obligations, even if the underlying account is deleted.
- Ratings: retained as pseudonymous improvement data; not linked to your account.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your account and the personal information tied to it. We may retain payment records as required by law.
- Portability — receive a machine-readable export of your account, credits, and payment history.
- Withdraw consent — for example, stop using the optional birth-date step at any time.
- Object or restrict — ask us to limit how we process your data.
- Complain — lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time — typically 30 days.

Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic and apply standard safeguards to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep what we hold safe and to keep how much we hold to a minimum.
Children
sasthare is not directed at users under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Please do not create an account or submit a birth date if you are under 16.

Palm readings are generated for fun and entertainment. They are not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
